I mean that. I can't imagine having a more serious OTP than them.

I go for canon pairings, so... hmm. Well, I kept seeing so much Sheldon/Penny that I got kinda suckered into that.

I WILL NEVER GET BEHIND NANCY DREW/FRANK HARDY UNLESS IT IS USED TO PROMOTE MY (OPPOSITE OF) SECRET AGENDA FOR NANCY/NED

I can't really get behind Annie/Abed. Possibly because I see Abed as asexual.

E - Have you added anything stupid/cracky/hilarious to your fandom, if so, what

I'm slowly working on introducing Ned's (canonical!) love of dancing. Because damn does the boy like to dance.

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom

I still read fic in the X-Files fandom, and I was into that in 1997, probably even before that (I know for sure I wasn't watching until summer 1995 and that's when I first started poking around on the Internet, but I might not have connected the two for a while). If you count from when I wrote my first fic, even though I didn't publish for many years after, I wrote my first fic in probably 1993-ish.

H - Do you prefer characters from real action series or anime series

I don't watch anime, so, live-action. Well, technically Archer is animated, but I doubt that meets anyone's definition of anime.

I - Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why

Not really... although it has alerted me to the fact that the Van Gogh character on Doctor Who looks like Torgo from Manos: The Hands of Fate.

I didn’t get into Sherlock until after I saw it all over tumblr. Granted, my getting into it was more notdriftingjustwaiting’s fault.

K - How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom

My main fandom is Nancy Drew, and I'm kind of bemused by all the Nancy/Frank 'shippers there. Fanfiction.net is full of them. I'm amused when nostalgic Nancy Drew fans suddenly discover that ship. Nancy and Frank met canonically in the 1970s, but Nancy and Ned have been dating since 1932, so BOOM.

L - Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for

Heh. I'd ask prufrock's love to write another historical Mulder/Scully epic.

M - Your favorite fanart or fanartist

While I enjoy (or am a bit weirded out by) fanart when I run across it, I don't really seek it out.

N - Your favorite fanfiction or fanauthor

prufrock's love. Which reminds me, I need to go track down that author's new fic...

"No Light, No Light" by Florence and the Machine reminds me of Chuck/Sarah, during the finale.

P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas)

Oh hell. Anything I say will make me want to write a story. I really want to see Nancy and Ned meet in a Regency AU, though.

Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why

Hmm. I shipped Peggy/Paul early on in Mad Men. I don't watch Big Bang Theory anymore so I'm not on the Sheldon/Penny ship.

R - A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships

I know there are other fans of Peggy/Father Gill and Veronica/Duncan out there. Just not nearly so many as the ones for the main ships on those shows.

S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon

In the Files universe, Nancy and Ned met when Nancy was fifteen and working on a case. He had to work hard just to get her number - Nancy had dated a few guys but never found anyone who was willing to put up with her constant need to be working on a mystery and had little optimism it would work with Ned. She found herself drawn to him, though, and hoping despite all her other failures that things would work with him. After the Files, Nancy went to Emerson and Ned proposed (for real this time) during Christmas break of his senior year there.

Nah. All my ships are hetero.

V - Are you one of those fans who can’t watch anything without shipping

I'm sure there are things I watch without shipping... I enjoy the friendship between Liz and Jack on 30 Rock, and I want Jenna and Paul to work out, but I don't seek out fanfic or fanvids or anything. Now, honestly, I will read 30 Rock fic if the author/description spark my interest. But yeah, I generally do get invested in a ship for anything I love.

Hmm. Other than 30 Rock... part of the problem is that it's hard to get into fandoms/find fics to read without a pairing, and while I don't really have ships in Harry Potter, I don't know that I can be said to be "involved" in that fandom.

Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go

I'd like to just bitch for a little while about how the current Nancy Drew series is pretty bad (awful, possibly?) and I think it's the wrong step to skew the books for a younger audience. I'm not saying it should be wall-to-wall murder/violence/sex, except in that I would TOTALLY LINE UP FOR THAT SHIT, and Nancy Drew On Campus just turned into this awful drama soap-opera-esque LACK OF NANCY/NED, and... this always becomes a screed about how honestly I want an adult Nancy Drew series. And yeah, I know some authors try to sell their books as "an adult Nancy Drew!" but it ISN'T because it isn't her name, and honestly if I were writing original novels, I wouldn't make some cut-rate Nancy my heroine. Because she's mother-effing Nancy Drew. And yeah, Simon & Schuster, if you give me the reins I will totally blow your minds. LOL.
