let's play a game for summerfest this year: give me a specific lyric as a possible title, a fandom, and a scenario, and i'll come up with a fic. crossovers are fine.

fandoms you can choose from: nancy drew, chuck, law & order criminal intent, pushing daisies, x-files, lois & clark, big bang theory, perry mason. anything else, you can ask. and if none of the lyrics there are your cup of tea, you can try these (click discography). and, well, i'll just leave this open for the rest of the summer, if anyone actually wants to participate, so through september 1.

-saw mst3k: zombie nightmare for the first time last night. wow, that was... something, huh? although now i want an icon of mike and servo dressed as batman and robin.

-went to the used bookstore today, got a couple of norton critical editions (the awakening and the wings of the dove, if i'm not mistaken), a dashiell hammett omnibus, a tom swift (mostly because it had a 1937 inscription and that wonderful old-book smell) and a 25-chapter matte yellow-spine nancy drew. and promptly packed them for the impending move.

here's my requests.

1. chuck, sarah, and casey have to stay. other than that, i want ellie and awesome as recurring, and morgan as much as is logical, and jeff and lester as much as logical, but other than that i'm good. DO NOT CROSS ME, NBC.

2. i know the buy more set is still standing, so chuck will probably have to go back to work there, but we can move chuck into sarah's apartment, since that's also still up, and that would save... hell, who am i kidding, i just want it to happen.

3. RENEW IT FOR 22 EPS ASAP.

those are easy enough, i think. get on it.

in other news: maybe i'll use dreamwidth for WIPs. not sure.

so, thanks to htbthomas, i now have a dreamwidth account, under this same name, ndnickerson. and then i realized that some of my friends here have dreamwidth accounts, but they've chosen different names on dreamwidth, and... so, if you have an account, feel free to go add me there, since i would but i seem to have a mild vodka-induced headache and the prospect of combing back through my teeming subscription page is giving me the dt's.

not that i'm leaving here or anything. i just feel it's important to have my name in both places, and apparently the comment limits over on dreamwidth are gloriously long.

now i just have to figure out how to get my chuck theme over there.
