as i may have mentioned, i loaned my mad men season 1 dvd set to a friend, so she could watch it. she couldn't get into the pilot when watching at home, so we did what we did when i first got veronica mars a few years back: got together, sat down and had a marathon. we managed to knock out the entire first season of veronica mars over a day and a half (very little sleep), but we've been spacing it out a bit more with mad men. she got hooked after the first four episodes, and now we're two episodes away from the season 2 finale. [we just watched the jet set, which is *still* weird, even though i now know what happens after. also, she's asked for mad men s1 for her birthday, which just makes me glow with happiness.]
i also gave her (and another friend) copies of chuck season 1 on dvd, and have now gotten both of them hooked, so probably tomorrow we're going to start watching chuck s2 on my dvr.
i love getting people hooked on new shows. she was also watching life last year, and told me it was great, and she also loves big bang theory, and i've heard people recommend both, so i'm gonna have to check those out.
where was i, oh yes: must get to writing! =D
