OMG WHY DID I EVER CLICK THIS THRICE-DAMNED CAFEWORLD ICON. it's so hypnotic.

i made the best soup i've ever made, today. however, it required the remains of a barbecue chicken plate and the leftover toppings from make-your-own-pizza night, so i doubt i'll ever be able to make it again. which is sad. ahh well.

also i very much need to get to work on the story lottery prompts, but i've got terry pratchett's newest book, and i just finished diana gabaldon's latest, and i have papers to grade and an online class to complete and a daughters of the american revolution meeting and...

and that other story that i really hope i can get finished tonight. just have to figure out if i want it to fade to black or not. ;)

What did you think of "Echo in the Bone"? I'm only halfway through it, but I'm liking it more than "Breath of Snow and Ashes".

But maybe it's that I'm also a DAR- I'm glad to finally be getting into some of the battles instead of just the lead-up to the Revolution.

i liked it better than snow and ashes too. now i kind of want to go back and read all of them again just to pick up on all the little subtleties that i've forgotten along the way.

today i'll be going to my second DAR meeting - it's a bit hilarious because i'm the youngest person in there by 30 years. but it's a lot of fun because we seem to do a lot of genealogy stuff, and i love genealogy. =)

your life sounds a lot like mine at the moment. generally crazy. and I have something almost finished as well, I just need the motivation to actually sit down and do it.

the soup sounds amazing! I totally love barbecue chicken.
