ndnickerson+(i have had "fuck you fucking shark! fortnight!" in my head for far too long and since no one else seems to have that particular demetri martin album, no one knows what i'm talking about.)
+Sweet Lord i lost my mind while shopping today. haul:
-three prelit outdoor garlands, a velvet bow, a butterfly ornament, a tabletop tree decorated with pinecones, and wide ribbon for next year's decorating, since there was a sale.
-two bath bombs from lush (one is seaweed and the other is GLITTER. i was delighted.) and the friend i took there gave me some body wash because it was buy-one, get-two-free.
-alias seasons 1 and 2, damages season 1, veronica mars season 1 (i let a friend borrow it along with season 2 and it's been a year), public enemies on blu-ray, fired up! (i know. I KNOW. i just think it's hilarious, if INCREDIBLY stupid.) on dvd.
-used bookstore: library of america crime novels of the 1930s and 40s, library of america crime novels of the 1950s (they include the talented mr ripley and the postman always rings twice and the killer inside me and WOW, and the cashier who also owns the place chuckled when he saw me with them and said "i knew somebody would get these pretty quick, these are awesome and they look so clean"), a perry mason, a nancy drew (it's stained and cost 25 cents but i had to adopt it), and two willo davis roberts books, all for like $23
what did i plan on buying when i left the house? public enemies.
have i lost it? need you ask?
+because i'm anal:
i wrote 2 yuletide stories (i'm working on 2 more but i guess they'll be NYRs). between them: 347 hits, 23 comments, 10 bookmarks. haven't counted the recs. i'm happy. =D
