Oh, cool. I know what you mean about being conflicted about it. RPF is always difficult. It felt too difficult for me to leave public feedback there, and I'm just a reader.
I very much liked the story because it's not some weird warped version of them suddenly being madly in love, but what you wrote feels possible. I find them especially difficult to pair up because I suspect they don't like each other much. So her telling him he's not her type sets that up very well for me.
But the way you wrote it, I can see there being a physical attraction that neither wants to acknowledge, and I can see Zac being insecure about being able to get her, especially in the beginning of the show. (I can't really see her reciprocating, but that wouldn't make for a good fic now, would it? ;))
I very much like how he analyzes things and how he tries not to want her, and how he still believes he doesn't have a shot right up to the very end.
So, yeah. I really like it. Thanks for keeping it up there (and letting me comment on it here).
