Based on the community five_acts (check it out for more details!), we're going to have a week of indulging each other's favourite kinks, tropes, acts and pairings. Amazingly, we are up to Round Six. In a nutshell, what we do is:

+ Post a list of your five favorite acts/kinks to read about. Check out this list if you need some inspiration. At the bottom of your post, add what fandoms/pairings you're interested in.
+ Read other people's lists; the master list of lists is here.
+ Post comment-fic based off of other people's interests.

Once you've posted your list at your journal, post it in the comments on this post so other people can find it.




My favorite acts/kinks:

-Bonds of a mental nature/telepathy: I especially love this in fandoms where it would be AU. Or fandoms where it isn't. Hell, practically all fandoms.
-First times (first time between two individuals; losing virginity/cherry; first time doing a particular act)
-Hurt/comfort (emotional and/or physical, including torture of all kinds and degrees, and any form of caretaking)
-Emotional themes, emo-kink (angst; wallows; darkfic; emotional damage; psychological trauma; tragic pasts; broken characters; guilt and shame; mental instability; sadness and grief; abandonment or fear of same; characters who can't go home again; fear in general; nightmares; loneliness; broken-heartedness; failure; insecurity; self-hatred; self-mutilation such as secret cutting; suicide; see also Insanity)
-Protectiveness (physically or verbally defending someone; caretaking in general; bodyguard scenarios; mysterious benefactors or protectors)

ooh, very nice. i do want to believe that despite everything else, winona would stand up for raylan... sigh. and your version of boyd is so calmly self-assured, too. just like the real one. ;)
