lost 5x16-5x17

ndnickersonso, guess what i did? bought lost season 4 on DVD today. used, but yeah. "the extended experience." [also bones is on right now, and that... is a bit distracting.]
so, here we go.
1. who is christian with? jacob or anti-jacob? he says he speaks for jacob, he's in jacob's cabin, but he also seemed to support evil-zombie-locke. of course, it's possible that christian didn't realize that locke *was* evil-zombie-locke, but who knows. but then, maybe christian *is* a manifestation of either jacob or anti-jacob.
2. so will terry o'quinn still be around next season? as the zombie?
3. i'm really beginning to think that season 6 is going to open with *a* plane crash. maybe the ajira one. not sure.
4. if jacob's cabin is only jacob's in name, and actually was meant to hold anti-jacob, hence the ash protection circle, that makes sense up to the point when ilana and her crew came to the cabin expecting to find jacob. not only did they not find jacob, they didn't find christian or claire in there. is this because the actress who plays claire wasn't available?
wtf is happening on bones right now?
5. how does ilana know jacob and vice versa? it's like ilana is a member of the foreign branch of the others. what with the secret password, that we only see richard knowing.
6. was richard on the black rock? was the black rock the ship we saw approaching at the beginning?
7. is jacob dead? what were all these rules and loopholes about? are they the same rules and loopholes that ben and charles widmore were supposed to obey?
8. i don't buy "i had [kate] and i lost her and that's why i'm rebooting everyone" as jack's actual base motivation. i buy it as the reason he'd give to sawyer for why he's doing it, because of how sawyer very specifically defined the only motivation he'd understand, but still. if jack believes he needs some grand destiny, and this is a way for him to undo the plane crash (and i've heard it said that jack is just being selfish, but A LOT of people have died on the island, all those redshirts and all but one of the tailies and so many people), then i can see him changing what happened. if what they did does in fact undo the reason behind the plane crash.
9. i don't buy juliet's "i changed my mind," but that's probably just from time compression.
10. YAY ROSE AND BERNARD.
bones is becoming continually more confusing. it'd help if i watched more than once every 2 months.
11. someone said everyone will reboot to the time when jacob touched them. that doesn't really make sense because it puts sayid and hurley as after the crash, which means the crash must happen... anyway.
12. i kind of, in a way, want everyone to be alive and reunited in the last season, even down to shannon and charlie and everyone, but i doubt that'll happen, so. let's see.
was it not all mind blowing. whew.
