two things

two things i need to know immediately, if not sooner:

-WHEN WILL SEASON 3 OF MAD MEN START. i can't find a date, and theoretically i could say oh about twelve weeks from now, if the reruns of season 2 running right now mean anything, but that's not a given.
-WHEN WILL I GET TO SEE THE LAST EPS OF PUSHING DAISIES. i was all set to just buy the dvd set and see them there, but supposedly abc has the rights to run them still, and OH COME ON YOU GUYS.

other glorious things:
-the PS2 is now going to cost $99 at some unspecified point in the future! which is great because i love tekken tag tournament. there are prob some other games i love as well, but that's the main one.
-star trek in almost exactly a month!
-criminal intent starts again in like 3 weeks. (FOR REALS THIS TIME, says USA. SUUUUURE, say i.) have i admitted that, despite it taking me about 7 years to actually ship on-screen goren/eames, i shipped mary/marshall from the beginning of in plain sight? yeah, i'll just put that out there. and y'know, if USA runs CI as a summer/winter show as they do with psych, and pair it up with in plain sight, that's totally awesome with me, because it assures me television i will enjoy all year round. and a potential future fanfic in which eames, in a fit of panic, runs from her shotgun wedding to goren (obvs in some sort of parallel universe) and he has to find and comfort her with his sexiness and/or rapier-like wit. someone should get on that immediately.
-i also need everyone to join hands and reassure me that there will indeed be a third season of chuck.
-I NOW HAVE A LEGIT REASON TO BUY A HUGE MEDIEVAL PRINCESS DRESS.

that is all. oh and i've been making mst3k playlists on youtube, because that's the new black.

ETA: July 21, apparently, for the Pushing Daisies season 2 set. If I am to trust April Fool's Day.

Is the medieval princess dress wedding related?

sadly no. the bridesmaid dress arrived for the wedding today, and it is disappointingly modern. the princess dress is for the discworld convention masquerade. =)

The masquerade ball sounds like a lot of fun as will be the shopping for the princess dress. And you got the bridesmaids dress. Yay!
also, just to let you know, another livejournal user recommended our fics from the porn battle and she wrote some really lovely things about your writing. if you haven't seen it, I can direct to the journal!

The writing's coming along okay. I'm working on the next chapter of Doubt and I should hopefully have something in the next week or so. I am a fortnight's holidays from work starting on Friday, so that will definitely make me more productive!

Are you working on anything different at the moment?

wtf, abc still has the rights to air the last few episodes? ugh, they should just air them and get it over with. prolonging the 'hiatus' (or whatever they'd call it) is just making it worse. chances are they'll air them all back-to-back in july on some sunday night or something. *is angry* screw abc.

if there's no 3rd season of chuck i will be so upset. the last few episodes have been so. good.

exactly. i'm going to stumble out of bed some morning in mid-august and find them magically on my DVR, is what i'm thinking. ugh. just like fox did with the end of arrested development. blast it.

i know! chuck has been awesome lately! (well, it's pretty consistently awesome, really.)

I read that they are going to air the last three in ENGLAND when they get to them (this week it's "The Norwegians", so soon!) In the US, I thought it was going to be the Paley Fest in Sept. before they aired on ABC.

But because of the UK airing, I'm sure all the usual piracy outlets will have it. :)

I am personally convinced that I/we the audience will never see those unaired episodes of Pushing Daisies.

I am keeping my toes and all other appendages crossed for a third season of Chuck. My friends have all been warned that should anything contrary happen, I will be catatonic and they are to feed me large amounts of pistachio ice cream in order to sooth me. I think the tv gods should be kind to us as we lost PD so we should get Chuck.
