Hi LJ! I'm sorry, I've been cheating on you with tumblr. But don't worry, I'll (probably) always come home to you.

I went on vacation for July 4 and hung out with my sister for a week. I got a lot of writing done (for those of you on the het_bigbang filter, you won't get to see Part 6 until the entire story is published, although that part is done) and jumped in the waves and bought swim goggles and four dresses.

Four.

Three and a half of them are my sister's fault. I need a belt for one (maybe theoretically I don't but it comes with a belt that I don't really like that much so I need a new one). Two of them look very retro/Mad Men. Then I started thinking about shoes...

Which is why, a few minutes ago, I bought two pairs of sale shoes from nine west.

One of the pairs, in the photos, looks like peep-toe ruby slippers.

This fills me with glee.

My sister also started putting bare minerals on me, so now I'm intrigued, but I'll probably wait a while to try it.

I've reached one of my major weight loss goals (I'm down more than 30 lbs!) and I've gone down to my old bra size! Now I'm in a 38C! Hooray! Just a little while longer and maybe I'll be able to get back to my goal bra size.

And I found this great recipe for low-carb stuffed bell peppers.
