Okay, I'm rewriting that perennial classic, the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Super Mystery [Poll #1807931]

LOL. in the book itself they're more in the "getting along but that's it" side of things. but then there are HUGE GAPING PLOT HOLES in the book so far, so we'll see. i think it'd be fun to contrast joe and bess against nancy and ned as a couple, with them playing married.

I can't believe you reading the book:) The things one has to do for fanfic:)

LOLing at the huge, gaping plot holes:) But then most of the Nancy Drew books are guilty of that:)

I went through and made a detailed outline, which was hilarious enough in itself, and then had to go through and correct it (I updated it to present time, because it was published in 1995 and airport security has changed A LOT since then), and... yeah. I think these plot holes were more egregious than most, although often it's "and why didn't they just contact the authorities instead of using amateur teen detectives?"

Anyway. I just finished up with Chapter 1, so I might try to do Chapter 2 before I post that. ;)

Why would you contact the police, when you could just ask a few eighteen-year-olds to do the same job:)
